A New Chapter for the Club – From Your New Chairman

Dear Members,

As many of you will know, I have recently taken on the role of Chairman of the club. I would like to begin by thanking Tim for the tremendous job he has done over the past four years. His hard work, commitment and leadership have helped place the club in a really strong position, and I am very much looking forward to building on the excellent foundations he has put in place.

Our first committee meeting took place yesterday evening, and a number of new items were raised as we continue Tim’s legacy of improving the club. Over the coming months, you will hopefully begin to see some further upgrades across the club. These improvements are aimed not only at enhancing the overall facilities, but also at smartening and tidying up the surroundings to give the club an even sharper, more professional feel.

The committee remains fully committed to supporting all members. We are always on hand to discuss any thoughts, ideas or queries you may have, so please do not hesitate to reach out to any of us. Ultimately, the committee and I are here to maintain the high standards of the club and take it to the next level — and that can only be achieved with your input. All ideas are welcome!

Looking ahead, we are excited for another great year at the club. The last few weeks of team games for this season are already here, with another bumper Summer Teams competition just around the corner, along with a range of social events that we hope will continue to strengthen the fantastic community spirit we have.

I am also pleased to confirm that new courts will be installed on 3rd August, bringing Courts 3 and 4 up to the same brilliant standard as courts 1, 2 and 5. This is a significant investment in the club’s future and something we can all look forward to being completed.

The club is in a really strong position, and with continued support from our members, I am confident we can make the year ahead one of our best yet.

I look forward to seeing you all at the club soon.

Best wishes,

James Sanders
Chairman
